Mommy Moment...
I want to share a funny story today, because yesterday was so serious.
Our second child, Devin, brought to our family several gifts, one being joy. He was happy all the time.
At one year old his favorite thing was to hide somewhere, usually in a box, and pop up laughing. Sometime startling his mother.
While my niece and nephew were here for a visit. They thought he was hilarious. Several times they put him into a 5-gallon bucket, told him to "hide" just so they could watch his face light up and he jumped up. We have photos of Devin in the bucket between the two of them, and they are all laughing.
Each child brings 'gifts' to their family, maybe hope, faith, peace, love, or joy, maybe enthusiasm. Look for those gifts. Write them down. If you are unsure, pray; ask God to show you the gift that child brings.
Help your children see their gifts.
