I'm no missionary!!

Missionaries go overseas, right? They live in huts and cook over open fires outside, right? --Don't they?

Crunchy...Yet Satisfying.

Some days I felt like I spent all day trying to keep that kid from eating...

Activity Days

We all loved going to our Activity Days. They were once a month gathering for all the Homeschool families,

One Tall Blonde...

"We'd like a tall, pretty blonde. Please." "Danielle, your family is here!"

Mommy's Matter

Your time isn't wasted. Your days are not squandered. You are vital to your children.

Teaching Kindness

Teach kindness, demonstrate it every chance you get…in the grocery store…and at home. Kindness is infectious. You want your kids to get it.

Making School Fun!

Finding creative ways to homeschool was something I quite enjoyed.

Protecting their hearts

Protecting their heart is about preserving the innocence that God gives them for as long as possible.

Mom...MOM...MOM!

Knowing that he would be heard gave him the assurance he needed, then he could be patient.

Let's Get Real

Will you get real with me? Will you help me be real? Can we lift each other up and can we walk together in truth on our motherhood journey?

Be Creative

The older kids in the group read formal book reports. Some were... well...rather dry. So we created some Biblical clothing...for bananas.

Enjoy Shopping

Using a bit of creativity and engaging them can make it fun for all of you, and you teach them life skills besides.

Work Hard/Live Well

I loved to pop in and see them while they were at work. I just wanted to encourage them and let them know I was proud of them.

Daddy Time

Finding simple ways to strengthen relationships within your home is a win/win.

The Answer is With God’s Help.

I had someone ask me, “How did you raise such nice kids?” I wasn’t sure how to take it, or how it was meant. Go back & reread that question.

Be Open For Where God Is Leading You

I am ever so grateful that God kept pushing, showing me that I needed to homeschool, that I could, and that the kids would do well.

Leave It at the Foot of the Cross

No one tells you how hard it is to be a mom. There is no training, other than on the job training.

She's Fine

I had to learn when I was being manipulated and when she really needed me. It was a tough lesson, for me. I am a pleaser.

Pray. Ask God

Being mommy is tough, especially in today's world. Children are either devalued or held up as idols. In so many ways Mommies can't win.
