Some days I felt like I spent all day trying to keep that kid from eating...
We all loved going to our Activity Days. They were once a month gathering for all the Homeschool families,
"We'd like a tall, pretty blonde. Please." "Danielle, your family is here!"
Your time isn't wasted. Your days are not squandered. You are vital to your children.
Teach kindness, demonstrate it every chance you get…in the grocery store…and at home. Kindness is infectious. You want your kids to get it.
Finding creative ways to homeschool was something I quite enjoyed.
Protecting their heart is about preserving the innocence that God gives them for as long as possible.
Knowing that he would be heard gave him the assurance he needed, then he could be patient.

The older kids in the group read formal book reports. Some were... well...rather dry. So we created some Biblical clothing...for bananas.
Using a bit of creativity and engaging them can make it fun for all of you, and you teach them life skills besides.
I loved to pop in and see them while they were at work. I just wanted to encourage them and let them know I was proud of them.
Finding simple ways to strengthen relationships within your home is a win/win.
I had someone ask me, “How did you raise such nice kids?” I wasn’t sure how to take it, or how it was meant. Go back & reread that question.
I am ever so grateful that God kept pushing, showing me that I needed to homeschool, that I could, and that the kids would do well.
No one tells you how hard it is to be a mom. There is no training, other than on the job training.
I had to learn when I was being manipulated and when she really needed me. It was a tough lesson, for me. I am a pleaser.
Being mommy is tough, especially in today's world. Children are either devalued or held up as idols. In so many ways Mommies can't win.
