Granny's Guidance

Some days I felt like I spent all day trying to keep that kid from eating...

I would do anything for my kids...

" Hi. My name is C-A-L-E-B." He spelled his name every time.

"That light isn't working right. It's casting an odd shadow. Suppose one bulb is out?"

I was half afraid they were going to call the cops on us.

We had absolutely no furniture in our front room. None. Nada. No comfy couch. No rocking chair. No TV.

She was like a kid in a candy store when Christmas morning came around that year. She could hardly wait to open gifts!

One indication that she was a "city cow" was that she didn't like to drink dirty water. It's true. She would refuse to drink... for days.

Sometimes great blessings are hidden in the midst of the hard things we go through.

The older kids in the group read formal book reports. Some were... well...rather dry. So we created some Biblical clothing...for bananas.

Suddenly, I found myself flat on my fanny with the roll hanging out of my mouth!

One night when we stopped to moved the tubes to different rows we found that the ditch had washed out...

As you know I'm not even coordinated enough to eat and walk simultaneously. Throw in a hurt arm and you just never know what might happen!
