Mommy Moment...
One Christmas I was looking for a craft to do with Dani and Devin (this was YEARS ago...before Google and Pinterest). My mom came up with "peanut people".
What are "peanut people"? We carefully opened a bag full of peanuts in the shell, saving all the shells. We ate all the peanuts, glued the shells back together, and created clothes for them, dresses, hats, and scarves.
Seriously, we made a village full of people that year: a skier, a mother and baby, a preacher and choir. We even created a baby carriage for the mother to push around our village.
Silly, right? It's a delightful memory. We had so much fun! Most of them have broken, naturally. I do still have a few of those little people and I put them out each Christmas. They make me smile.
